OIA is committed to the sustainability of all independent small businesses and we are prioritizing BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), Immigrant, Queer-owned, Woman-Owned, and legacy businesses (30+ years in operation), and Oakland born/raised.
We are issuing grants of $600 to businesses with damaged storefronts
We are funding independently-owned, Oakland-based businesses, small businesses (less than 100 employees and annual revenue under $7million)
We aim to have applications processed and funds distributed within a week (if you have applied and have not yet received a response email us.
You do not need to be an Oakland Indie Alliance member to apply, although we invite you to join (our membership is free), however, this will have no effect on your application
