Standing in Solidarity

No Justice, no peace. Oakland Indie Alliance stands in solidarity with those fighting for justice and police accountability in the streets of Oakland. In some cases, our members are the ones on the street standing arm in arm with the community.

The storefronts of our small, local, independent businesses have been damaged, in a time when small businesses are already struggling to survive. Please help support of repair fund so we can ensure the sustainability of our local small business community.

Please note: The Repair Fund is out of funds at this time (June 2022), but businesses can still apply and will be put on a waiting list for when funds do become available.

Repair Fund Update 10/12/2020

We've supported 100+ businesses with direct repair funds —90% of grantees were BIPOC, Immigrant, woman, and/or queer-owned. We received thousands of donations, with our average contribution being $72. Given how often unforeseeable events damage small businesses, we’ve reopened our Repair Fund donation portal so we can continue supporting small businesses year round.
