From Visit Oakland and the Jack London Improvement District (JLID):
The Oakland community is invited to participate in A Seat at The Town Table – the first 2022 forum of mayoral candidates, hosted by Visit Oakland and the Jack London Improvement District (JLID). The event will introduce Oakland’s 2022 Mayoral candidates and provide the community the opportunity to ask questions of panel participants. A Seat at The Town Table welcomes people who live and work in the Jack London area, as well as those who visit the neighborhood - to share their concerns and request information that will encourage positive change.
The free, open to the public forum will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Regal Jack London Theatre, 100 Washington Street in Oakland, California. Moderated by Taj Tashombe, Board President, Jack London Improvement District.
